Wakanda Forever Movie Review

Spoiler Warning
The Wakanda Forever movie has been making headway as the latest installment in the Marvel franchise. However, is it as good as people say it is? Many critics have been saying this is a fantastic movie, but I’m here to see if that’s true. I watched the film on Saturday, and after watching it, I had mixed thoughts about it.
First, this movie was way darker than most other movies, with it being centered around death. Although it is way darker and is centered around death it also revolves around other multiple points, one being about the corruption in their world and how governments are willing to be two-faced to get what they want.
The last central point of the movie is moving on after the death of a loved one. This is shown throughout the movie as Shuri, the sister of the Black Panther, has to move on after her brother’s death. Since she was rushing to find a cure to save him, she decided to spend the little time she had left with him in a lab to find a treatment. But, it didn’t end up working, and she wasn’t able to spend the final moments of his life with him. This traumatic experience leads to her having to cope and deal with the pain of regret and sorrow, and being unable to process it because of her mindset.
Even though she’s struggling, she also has to lead a country through a troubling time, with Wakanda going to war with a mysterious, more powerful country that is threatening to take over. She has to deal with other countries attacking Wakanda bases, and people trying to find vibranium in other parts of the world to create dangerous weapons.
Another major thing many people did not like about the film was that it attempted to replace Iron Man, which was a terrible choice. My brother, who is a significant fan of Iron Man, says, “I don’t like that they’re trying to replace Tony Stark and revive the character. They should have just let the idea of Iron Man pass away peacefully in Avengers: Endgame.”
So that’s all I have to say about the movie, but if you are still wondering whether or not to watch it, here is what I have to say. This movie has a good storyline. I recommend it if you like Marvel and have seen the other films because if not, be prepared to not understand most of the movie.
