This years Thanksgiving feast
By: Claire Emch
This year’s school-wide Thanksgiving feast was held on Tuesday, November 26.
We had a strawberry rhubarb pie eating contest between all four grades, where one person from each class was chosen to participate; the rules were no hands and no utensils. The following students that participated were Andrew Shine for the Freshmen, Josh Crowell for the Sophomores, Lucas Keohnke for the Juniors, and Roman Gould for the Senior class. Josh Crowell took home the win for the Sophomores. It was announced that the freshman won our annual Knights of Columbus food drive competition, they will be rewarded with 240 wings catered by Wingstop. We had many good dishes and desserts like cookies, ham, turkey, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and much more. Each class got their turn to go through the line with the Seniors going first, then the Juniors, then the Sophomores, and last the Freshmen.
