The mind during Sleep
By: Clara Gallinger
Something I’m interested in is how your brain works when you sleep, during, Most stages of sleep the thalamus also goes to sleep and becomes quiet. It lets you tune out the external world. The brain cells also produce bursts of electrical pulses that cumulate into waves—thousands of neurons in the brain switch from waking to sleeping. Your ears don’t sleep like the rest of your body when you’re sleeping. The brain loves to sleep because it gives good rest!
