The End of the 2024 Cross Country Season

By: Kaison Acker

The 2024 Cross Country season ends with a great race at state. Regis moved up to 7th place after starting at 10th. Our top 5 runners got a time of 17:58.2 by Stuart Mclaughlin, 18:24.6 by Harper Stoops, 18:45.8 by Kaison Acker, 18:58.7 by Kingston Whitmire, and 19:34.1 by Lucas Khoenke. Our 6th and 7th runners were Isaiah Kheonke, 20:01.3, and Hank Foltz, 20:46.2. We interviewed Mr. Bauer on November 18 about the recent Cross Country season and his thoughts. A sum of the interview from Bauer was that the team had a great season and next year our team should be improved. On November 20th the cross-country team had a lunch meeting giving out awards to the runners and the coaches. Each runner had a great race this year but the people that had stood out to the coaches were Stewart Mclaughin, Isaiah Keohnke, Hank Foltz, and Harper Stoops. The reason each of these people stood out was because Stewart was the team’s most valuable runner, Isaiah was the most inspirational runner, and Hank Foltz and Harper Stoops were both the most improved runners this year. That sums up the 2024 cross-country season.
