Take the Puppies to School Day
By Carli Stelljes
Last Friday, December 1st, during advisory, Kate and Carli Stelljes brought in their dog’s puppies. There are two boys and two girl cocker spaniels who are all different colors. Their names are Skippy, Freckles, Tootsie, and Mocha. On the way to the freshmen class, Ms. B and some of her students met the puppies. Then they were taken to the freshmen where they were passed around and held. Some then were taken to the sophomore class and Mrs. O’Neil was very excited. Once academic time started, the puppies were brought back into Mrs. Wiltsey’s room where some of the girls stayed and sat on the floor while they played with the puppies. Freckles and Skippy really enjoyed it when they got to run around to different people in the classroom. Everyone was very happy to see them and were sad when they left. The last person the puppies saw was Mrs. Keudell and Ms. B who said that Skippy was her favorite. This trip was really good for the puppies because it helped them socialize and get used to different people. The trip was also really fun for the students and teachers here at Regis!
