Steubenville Northwest
By: Gabriel Spencer
This year’s Steubenville was a blast! We started our trip in the morning at St. Mary’s parish in Mt Angel. The ride was a little rough but it was a fun experience. Our first stop was at a gas station where we got roadside snacks. Our second stop was a McDonald’s where we got burgers and chicken nuggets. We made it to Spokane Washington in the afternoon and went to our hotel rooms.
In the morning we had breakfast and went to Silverwood theme park. It was enjoyable; there were roller coasters, water slides, and much more! The next day we got up, had breakfast, and went to morning prayer in the lobby. Then we went to the first conference at the convention center and took our seats. Everybody sang along to the songs the band was playing and it was amazing. On the 4th day, we went for adoration and it was an incredible experience. It lasted about an hour and a half; it felt really neat to feel the presence of the Lord and the connection with the crowd of other young Catholics. On the 5th day, we left Spokane for the journey back to Stayton where we went to McDonald’s again. I got sick from one of their milkshakes but it was fun. Well, that’s all for this Rampage report. GO RAMS!
