Softball at Culver

By: Mayla Manning

The softball team made a long trip to Culver to play a doubleheader, but on the ride to the game, softball wasn’t the main focus. The girls found a way to entertain themselves and to do some team bonding. The team did this by taking funny pictures of one another, playing games, and singing along to the radio and to some childhood favorite songs. The team also talked about driving. For example, Mylah Etzel thought a roundabout was a U-turn. Delicious lunches were provided by Missy Manning, which included taco shells, meat, chips, and cookies. The ride was certainly a fun time for the whole team.

When the team got to Culver, there was a small delay in the game, so the Culver softball team turned on the music and we danced with each other until game time. We also played a very fun game with the opposing team. Even though the Regis team lost, we still had a lot of fun on the trip and playing the game. We enjoyed a great season and became closer as an athletic community.
