Regis vs Santiam

On Friday, February 3rd, the Regis Girls basketball team defeated Santiam 55 to 26 at Santiam. In the First Quarter, the Rams lead 22 to 7 to start the game off strong. Clara Persons and Adelle Otter both had 12 points for the Rams. Mayla Manning ended the game with a bang by knocking down a three to seal the win. 

The win over the Wolverine puts the Rams at a league record of eight wins and four losses with two league games left. The Lady Rams’ overall record is 16 wins and 7 losses, and this puts them as the 10th-ranked 2A team in the state. Regis will finish out league playing the Kennedy Trojans and the Colton Vikings.  

In the Tri-River Conference, the Rams are now in 5th place. Thursday’s game versus Colton will decide who gets 4th in the league. In the last game against Colton, the end score was 39 to 38 with the Vikings taking the win. 

The game versus the Colton Vikings will take place at Regis High School on Thursday, February 9th, at 7:30.
