On April 25th, 2025, the Regis Rams baseball team took on the Crosshill Christian Eagles in a doubleheader to finish off the three-game series. Regis was eight and two in league play going into the day, while the Eagles boasted a record of seven and three. Both teams were in the top running of Special District 2, with this series marking the halfway point of their respective league seasons. Starting game one for the Rams would be Jake Bohnke, matching up against him would be Miles Lute.
Game one got off to a quick start with the Rams scoring first. The Eagles took the lead later in the game, having a ten-to-two lead going into the bottom of the seventh. Regis was only able to put up three in the end to make the final score ten-to-five. Game 2 saw Korben Schumacher take the bump for the Rams and spin a no-hit gem as the offense exploded. The five-inning contest ended with a final score of 13-0 as Regis took the series win. The Rams look to continue this success going into the final three series of league play against Santiam, East Linn, and Monroe.
