Regis Student Sections

Whether it’s neon, pink, green and gold, western, or any other theme, the Regis Ram students always find a way to participate in the school’s student section. There is almost always a theme for home games so the students can match to be more intimidating to the opponents.
At certain games, the Regis Cheer Squad comes up with very clever cheers to chant. Sometimes, as a group, students come up with cheers. The excitement from the students encourages our players to continue fighting. At football games, the cheer squad picks a super fan from the section, and they get pictures with the team, a cape, and a crown. This award pumps the section up so that they can win this prize! One of the popular chants is in volleyball when a leader of the student section screams “HORNS UP” as the player is about to serve. As soon as they serve, everyone collectively says, “WOOSH.”
Lily Jepson says her favorite cheer during football games is “Trucking because it is a crowd favorite and it gets the students pumped up. It’s the cheer that everyone wants to participate in as well as all are active in”. Alex King, Sophia Shine, and MaryBeth Nusom also said their favorite cheer is “Truckin.”
