Regis Goes Bowling!

By: Trayton Hume

On Wednesday, February 1st, 2023, to help celebrate Catholic School’s Week, the whole Regis student body went to the AMF Firebird Bowling Lanes in Salem (if they got their permission slip in, of course) and had a blast. We also had the privilege of getting a ten-dollar card for the arcade. I had too much fun bowling to go to the arcade, but I heard it had many exhilarating games, including air hockey and claw machines. We all had great games, but here are our top scorers! Mylah Etzel came in third with 144 points, Charlie Miller in second with a whopping 154 points, and last but not least, Wyatt Baughman in first with 175 points! These three people excelled at their games and had fun while doing so.

When bowling, many of us sang along to the songs that came on, which was enjoyable. One of the songs that almost everybody knew was Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, we might not have known what the song was called, but we knew most of the words. It was great to get snacks and drinks from the concession stand and pig out while bowling. Going to the AMF Firebird Lanes was a great experience; I’m sure everyone here at Regis would love to go again.
