Rams Back On Track

By: Eli Bischoff

On September 29, at seven p.m., Regis played a fantastic home game, where we demolished Central Linn in a battle that ended 51 to 6. It was a very exciting game.

The game started a little slow; however, Central Linn managed to squeeze in a touchdown before the end of the first quarter. We finished the quarter with the score 6 to 0, with Central Linn Cobras in the lead. Then our team kicked it up a notch, with Tim Crowell starting it off by scoring our first touchdown with a great catch and a forty-yard run to the end zone. From our forty-yard line, Charlie Miller made a fantastic touchdown from a punt return.

The offense is exciting, with touchdowns and catches and strong runners. However, we played a great game on defense too. Our top tacklers were Luke and Thomas Bischoff, who tied in 1st with ten tackles, and Kollin Schumacher with eight tackles.

In the end, Regis was the better team. We lost the first quarter, but the Rams brought their A-game for the next three quarters. That’s all for the exciting game between the Regis Rams and the Central Linn Cobras, so tune in next week to read about the next game.
