Pendelton 2025
By: Maysen Mumey
After talking to Kinley Schade, I found out some information about Pendleton. The first game the Regis boys played was on Thursday, March 6, against Trinity Luther and the boys secured the first victory. On Friday, March 7, the boys played their second game against Western Christian and had a hard-fought game, but ended in a loss. During this game, Isaiah Koehnke broke the Oregon High school Career scoring record previously held by Kevin Love with a record of over 2641 points. Then Saturday afternoon they played Oakland for 3rd place in 2A boys basketball, but they lost and received 5th in state.
Now onto some fun! The rest of the weekend they got to enjoy some fun with family and friends. Everyone had fun attending basketball and cheering on our boys. They also enjoyed swimming and running around the hotel. As well as other fun activities like bowling. Overall it was a super fun and successful weekend that everyone got to enjoy.
