Ms. Kaitlin Leeper
By Sebastian De Jesus
Hi, my name is Sebastian De Jesus, and I am interviewing Ms. Kaitlin Leeper. Ms. Leeper was born in Moxee, Washington, and grew up in Albany, Oregon. She worked various jobs prior to becoming a teacher. Ms. Leeper began as a tutor for kids, which helped her decide to pursue her teaching degree at Oregon State University. She was a substitute teacher before being employed as a Social Studies teacher at Regis in 2019. Ms. Leeper came to Regis H.S. because the school fit what she sought, and she loved the faith.
A fellow student at Regis, Sophia Shine, describes Ms. Leeper as “ a lit teacher, “ meaning she is a relaxed and fun teacher. I have talked to some other students, and It seems that most students like her and think she is one of the best teachers at Regis. Ms. Leeper hobbies include reading, watching movies, and traveling. I am fortunate to be in her class, which is fun but, at the same time, ensures that we are challenged academically. She also gives extra credit to help students get better grades and is always available to help you.
