Our Editors’ looking back: Vienna C. & Abigail B.
By: Madison Silbernagel
Abby and Vienna are senior teacher aids for Mr. Tabor in the Rampage class. They are super helpful with any questions we ask and do their jobs dutifully. It is fun to have them around and hear their stories since they have been here at Regis!
Abby Beyer is 17 years old and has been here since the second semester of sophomore year. She was nervous when she started here because she didn’t know anyone at Regis. Abby’s favorite memory is “When I had driver’s ed with Mr. Medina, he tried to use slang words to fit in with us, and he could probably get mistaken for a student.”
She also says it was funny how Mr. Lippi would bring out his kazoo and just start playing it randomly.
Vienna Cabaneros is 17 years old and has been here since the start of her junior year. She says she was very nervous and stressed when she was starting at Regis since it was a new school and a new country. Vienna’s best memory is “ When I had homecoming week my junior year. It was a fun experience and it was nice to see everyone come together and get along.”
Both of them said how nice it was to be at Regis. “Everyone was a lot more accepting and welcoming than we thought they would be.”
Overall it was nerve-wracking for them, but they both said, “ Our time here at Regis has been very enjoyable, and we are glad we got the chance to attend Regis St. Mary’s High School.”
