Green and Gold Gala

The Green and Gold Gala is this Saturday, and I’m looking forward to working at it. I have been working at it for a long time because my mom is on the school board and is friends with some of the people who put it on. James and I had worked at the dessert auction, and it was fun.

This year, I think I’m working on getting plates and serving plates because that is what freshmen are supposed to do. When you are older, you can sell tickets, but not until you’re an upperclassman. The auctions are always really fun and a good way to help out our school. The auction is our school’s biggest fundraiser, and pays for a lot of stuff. It is exciting to see all the people that show up to support our school, and to see people that you don’t normally see come and support. I’m just really excited to see how well the auction does this year.
