First Regis Wresting Home Meet

On February 2nd, 2023, Regis had their first-ever home wrestling dual meet against the Kennedy Trojans and the Nestucca Bobcats. At the beginning of the dual, Nestucca and Kennedy wrestled each other with Nestucca coming out victorious. 

IT WAS ALSO SENIOR NIGHT!!! We celebrated our senior wrestlers Noah Emch, Luke Bischoff, Mac Parish, and Josefina Pina. Many of our wrestlers did very well and won most of their matches, and some of the highlights follow; Eli Bischoff was our very first wrestler to win a match in our home gym. Luke Bischoff’s first match was a very exciting match going into overtime and winning by points, the crowd cheered him on to the win. Thomas Bischoff won his match by pin, and John Nusom lost his first but won his second match. Talan Hensley, Josefina Pina, and Marybeth Nusom lost their matches. Noah Emch won his match in close to 17 seconds by pin in the first round. Logan Kirch won both of his matches. We ended the three-way dual in a three-way tie, with Nestucca beating Kennedy, Regis beating Nestucca, and Kennedy beating Regis.
