Dirtbikes
By Joshua Crowell
Something that I find great interest in is dirt bikes. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was in kindergarten. I have always been drawn to dirt bikes, even at a young age. I first started off on a Honda XR70R, which I recently just sold. I was on the XR70R for about five years before I moved up to the XR100R. The XR100R was the first bike that I learned to use a clutch on. I enjoyed that bike for a long time until, eventually I hit a jump and landed on the side and broke the bike’s bearings. To this day, I still have not fixed the bearings and it has been sitting in my garage. In the meantime, while I wait for the XR100R to get fixed, I have moved on to the CR250 2 stroke. This bike is also a clutch, not a manual like the XR70R and has more power and gears as well. The CR250 2 stroke and XR100R both have five gears, while the XR70R only has three. When I moved up to the CR250 2 stroke, I was not ready for the amount of power in the bike. In the future, I hope to be an X-games rider on a Dodge Tomahawk.
Ugh, dirt bikes… so overdone! Now, gimme a beefy street bike; the skies turn blue, and the birds start singing as I head east into the mountains! 😁
Great article!
Thanks!!
