Cross Country Season is Over!

The cross-country season is sadly now over for our fanatical runners, but we had a fantastic season. The team included Kingston Whitmire, Stuart McLaughlin, Hank Foltz, Calista Anglin, Sophie Wagner, Caleb Mayer, Julius Pokorny, Eric Silbernagel, Liam McSorley, Harper Stoops, Clara Persons, William Miotke, Gabe Keough, Jake Laube, Jake Bohnke, Lucas Koehnke, and Eli Silbernagel. We had many Personal Records and improvements for everyone thanks to our amazing coaches; Mike Bauer, Chris Vancauteren, David Payne, Cole Laube, and Nick Rabba. Even though Jake Bohnke got injured very early on in the season, he still cheered us on and helped on the sidelines.

Each team member received a letter award for their accomplishments and hard work throughout the season. In addition, the boys varsity team was recognized as Academic All-Stars as one of the top 10 schools based on the GPA of the team. Clara Persons and Stuart McLaughlin were recognized for being All-State Performers at the state meet in Eugene. Special awards included Rookies of the Year, which went to Kingston Whitmire, Harper Stoops, Calista Anglin, and Sophie Wagner, and the Leadership award which went to Caleb Mayer, The most valuable runners were Stuart McLaughlin and Clara Persons.
