Christmas Animation

2 years ago I made my first Christmas animation and since then. I’ve made none but recently I’ve been making a video that is by far my best yet. It’s full of color and movement. It’s everything about art I love. In my old animation looking back, I still think everything is pretty impressive, especially for the software I used to use. You can also tell how rushed it is I started it around a month before Christmas and now I have had 5 months (plus high school lol) to work on my video

My New Video

Back in August 2024 I decided with one of my friends to do a collab where we both animate pieces of a song and in editing merge them to make around a minute-long video to post on both of our channels recently I decided to add another minute to the video doubling our workload but giving us a chance to do a Christmas themed video the premise of the video is a bunch of fight scenes between us using the song Knife Fight by Lemon Demon. I have been able to make a very small following on YouTube so I have no expectations on when to upload. So as of now, it is expected around the beginning of January before January 10th

My Old Video

The old video that I posted on December 27th, 2022 is much more Christmas-themed than the one I’m creating right now mainly because it was made for Christmas while the one I am doing right now was not originally intended to be Christmas-themed but hoping to get a sense of Christmas in the first few scenes. It follows me and a few friends I have in the Song All I Want for Christmas Is You- by Mariah Carey I know what an original song… Anyway, I remember having a ton of fun creating a new version of my character for Christmas that year and having a chance to put all my friends in the video although the video was extremely rushed and you can tell by the quality of the animation.
