Brian J. Shawn Obituary

April 20, 1955 – November 21, 2023

Brian J. Shawn passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 68 after a two-year battle with the complications of amyloidosis. He enjoyed his retirement as a Facilities Manager at Regis St. Mary Catholic School. He loved spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, rock hunting, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Shindler Shawn; stepchildren, Jeremy Schindler, Crystal (Brett) Yancey, and Stefani (Jack) Ellis. Brian’s grandchildren include Austin, Coen, and Ashlynn Yancey; Makenna and Jacob Ellis; and Cash Shindler. He is also survived by his sisters Kathy Nehrkorn and Sheila (Rick) Beyer; and brothers Eric (Susan) Shawn, Kelly (Donna) Shawn, Kevin (Shirley) Shawn, and his 12 nieces and nephews.
