Azzilins Smith’s Easter Traditions
By Azzilin Smith
My family Easter tradition is that every year we wake up and go to church on Sunday morning and have a great mass celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, then we go back home and relax until around one o’clock-ish, we head out to my grandparents’ house, my dad’s parents. We hang out at my grandparents’ house with my aunts and uncles and my two cousins, Kaiden and Brayley Ford. We normally have dinner out there, play games, do an Easter egg hunt, and spend quality family time telling funny stories around the dinner table. But this year, for Easter, we went to my mom’s house and had lunch/ dinner with just the four of us in my family, and had an Easter egg hunt. My brother Rook is very bad at finding his eggs. I always find mine, and I always end up helping him look for them. This Easter was very relaxed, but it was very fun and a good time to spend with my family.
