About

The year is 1967. The summer of love is raging, gas is 29 cents a gallon, and Elvis Presley marries the questionably aged Priscilla Wagner. But most notably, the RAMPAGE, Regis High School’s student newspaper, saw its genesis. Regis was young in its years, founded in 1963. Three seniors: Gayle Owen, Roberta Samek, and Steven Schmidt made up the core of the team. The newspaper grew and shrank as the years went on, going in and out of production until the early 80s.

In 2020 the RAMPAGE came back in a digital format but during COVID ceased publishing. With the assistance of the Class of 2027, the RAMPAGE has made a resurgence here, once again online for the 2023-24 school year. So, welcome to the RAMPAGE; your home for everything about Regis. Go Rams!!

Maysen Mumey

My name is Maysen Mumey. I am 14 years old. I am a freshman at Regis and this is my first time taking Ram Page as an elective. I have been attending Regis St. Marys since I was in preschool. I love this school because Regis has a really good education and a great family environment. I also love that we get to grow in our faith together and learn more about God as a school. I have an older brother named Rylan Mumey who went to St. Marys when he was younger but now is a senior at Stayton highschool. At home, I have two cats and twelve chickens. Outside of school, I do competitive cheerleading. I get to travel to different states with my team and compete in lots of different competitions. I’m excited to continue my high school career here at Regis and grow in my faith. Let’s GO RAMS!

Kinley Schade

My name is Kinley Schade. I am 14. This is my first year taking Rampage and I’m a freshman at Regis. This is my second year attending Regis. It has been an amazing experience attending here because we get to learn and grow in our faith together as a school. I have one younger brother, who is a sixth grader at St. Mary’s. I also have five pets at home. I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. I like participating in sports because I like to stay active, spend time with friends, and improve. My hobbies are playing sports, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy spending time with my family. I look forward to spending the rest of my four years here at Regis. Go Rams!

PJ Sangster

I am PJ Sangster. I am a freshman at Regis and you might see me around in sports and stuff like that. I was born on June 3rd, 2009, I joined Saint Marys in first grade and have been with the class of 2028 ever since. The sports I play are football, basketball, and track. Some things I like to do in my free time are playing video games with my friends and reading comic books.

I am the oldest of four children. My mother, Mary Hansen-Sangster went to Regis. Something I enjoy most about Regis is the sense of community that flourishes across the campus. Regis is great because me and my friends get to share school spirit. What’s great about watching Ram sports is you get to see the same people you see on campus out there on the field/court. It’s cool because you don’t usually get that outside of high school sports

Elijah Payne

My name is Elijah Payne and I joined St. Mary’s Catholic School in sixth grade right after the pandemic. I have participated in almost all sports offered here including football, cross country, basketball, track, and swimming. This year I have taken on a new sport wrestling that has only been offered to high school students and just got offered to the middle school students.  I am most interested in how businesses are created and how they are run. I am also interested in how we can integrate AI better in the business world.

In this term, I will be doing Rampage and I will be writing about how the Regis sports teams are going. That will mostly include the sport that I am part of right now and that is wrestling. Also, I will be writing about the ongoing musical. This time the musical will be Something Rotten and it will be run by Mrs. B.

Nicolas Navarro

I am a freshman at Regis High School. I was born on September 8th, 2009, and have attended St.Mary’s since Pre-K. I play basketball here at Regis and soccer at Stayton High School. I started playing basketball in 7th grade and have played soccer my whole life. Soccer is my favorite sport. I like to hang out with my friends, play basketball, go outside, hang out with my family, and play video games.

I am the middle child. My older brother plays soccer, and my younger sister plays volleyball. I like watching the home games for football and basketball. I would watch soccer games with my Grandpa; he used to be my coach when I was younger.

Logan Bach

My name is Logan Bach. This is my first year at Regis and I’m just someone who wants to be me and have fun. I spent 9 years at Sublimity school where I made a lot of friends, some that I’m still friends with to this day. When I first walked into this school I was scared, because I knew no one and no one knew me. But I met these people who just wanted to be friends and just invited me to hang out with them. I still don’t know why everyone was so nice, they just were and that’s one of the reasons why I love this school, the people are just so welcoming and caring.
Now that out of the way, we can talk less about how and more about… well me! I like to play basketball. It is also my first time playing basketball as well! I also like to make people laugh, that is probably the one thing I try to do the most because it makes people happy! Math is probably my favorite class, even though I’m not the smartest person in my class, that doesn’t mean I hate the class, it just makes me want to do better. That’s mostly everything you need to know about me, and I hope you enjoyed reading this biography about Logan R. Bach.
