A Student Dreams to be An Artist

Art, music, and writing have been my interests since childhood. Art has always been my favorite as I draw in my free time. Drawing while listening to music is always a good mix for me as I won’t have to listen to silence while drawing because it’s just not very stimulating. Writing was my slightest favorite interest back then, but ever since I got better at reading and writing, I became more interested in it. I want to focus on practicing drawing and writing, not music, as I’m not good at creating songs, but I would like to do song covers. 

I’m still working on art but usually don’t have time due to schoolwork and lack of motivation. Motivation is something that all people must have when having to do a task or something else. Due to a lack of motivation, the drawing won’t look good, or I won’t finish it. But I still want to do sketching and maybe do some other hobbies that can help improve my motivation, and with motivation, I can continue drawing.

Music has its different styles and genres. It only depends on the personality and interests of the person. I usually listen to pop music as it’s very stirring and exciting to listen to when I don’t have anything else occupying me. I also do a little singing, but only when no one is hearing, as it’ll make me feel embarrassed if someone hears. When I hear a vocalist singing, it inspires me to be one someday.

Writing is one of my hobbies that I didn’t know I had much talent for, but when someone compliments and criticizes my writing, it motivates me to improve. I like to read books and get inspired by them, as writing my own stories makes me release my creativity. Being an author is one of my dream jobs because I would get the opportunity to publish my own stories and sell them to make a living while feeling accomplished. So, my dream jobs are artist, vocalist, and author.
