Summer Activities–Azzilin Smith

Something that I like to do in the summertime, when I have all the free time in the world, is hanging out with my friends, Mayla Manning, Addie Bishop, and Olivia Adams. We enjoy just hanging out and driving around, watching the sunset, swimming down at Olivia’s ponds, and having three-day sleepovers. Summer is one of my favorite times of the year because it’s hot, you can go swimming, and there is no school at all. One bad thing that I don’t like about summer is that I get burnt so easily, especially when we are down at the swimming pool at Olivia’s ponds. A couple of my favorite memories at the ponds are one summer, when it was over  100 degrees out on the Fourth of July, and we went and swam. Another fun memory is when Olivia, Mayla, and I were on a paddleboard and one of her twin little cousins dropped his goggles into the water, so we had to try to grab them without tipping the paddleboard over.  Lastly, one of my favorite memories is sitting around the campfire making s’mores and having a good time.
