Regis’ History

By: Hudson Mumey
Regis St. Mary High School, located in Stayton, Oregon, has been a key part of the community since it was established in 1929. The school not only focuses on good academics and values, but it also teaches students a lot about the Bible and how to apply those teachings in everyday life. The teachers help everyone learn and grow. Over the years, Regis St. Mary has built a strong reputation for doing well in academics and sports. We have very faithful students who love, learn, lead, and serve. Here at Regis, we have a chant, “Viva Cristo Rey.” This means “Long Live Christ the King!”. We have many traditions, from full school lunches, to good luck ram horns during a free throw. We do this to keep a friendly, warm, welcoming, and overall enjoyable atmosphere. Go Rams.
