Regis Track Athletes Highlights

On April 2, 2025, Regis High School athletes delivered a standout performance at the Three-Way Track Meet in Stayton, Oregon. Facing strong local competition, the Rams put up impressive results across multiple events. In javelin, newcomer Ethan Emch earned second place with a 122’2” throw. On the track, Jude Pokorny took first in the 100m sprint with a personal best of 12.53 seconds, while Trevon Kuenzi tied for third at 12.80. James Hayes won the 200m dash in 25.54, and Kaison Acker placed third in the 800m with 2:33.52. Stuart McLaughlin continued the momentum, finishing first in the 1500m at 4:39.40. In the 300m hurdles, Liam McSorley placed fifth (1:02.58), followed closely by William Miotke in sixth (1:03.10). The Rams’ A-team—Emmett Wagenaar, Trevon Kuenzi, Jude Pokorny, and James Hayes—won the 4×100 relay in a new group record of 47.94. The B-team (Trayton Hume, Alex Pelayo, Eli Bischoff, Josh Crowell) placed fifth at 58.75. In field events, Micah Diacetis placed second in shot put (40’6.25”) and Braden Rush took fourth (35’8.75”). In discus, Alex Pelayo threw 77’3” for eighth, and Rush followed in ninth (76’2”). Haruto Takano leapt 28’4” in triple jump. For the girls, Claire Emch took fourth in the 100m (14.77), and Carli Stelljes eighth (15.61). Cassidy Anglin placed fourth in the 800m (2:56.57) and fourth in shot put (22’2.25”), while also placing seventh in discus (58’9”). Adrianna Gilmore earned sixth in discus with a 77’0.5” throw. In jumps, Kaila Hayes (4’4”) and Sophia Shine (4’2”) competed in high jump. Stelljes also hit 27’0” in triple jump. The girls’ 4×100 team (Gough, Stelljes, Emch, Hayes) placed third in 57.88.

In conclusion, Regis Rams have top tier student-athletes and we will mastering their events.  The Rams be competing next at East Linn Christian on April 17th 2025.
