JV Regis vs Santiam

After being postponed for ice on the streets, the Regis vs Santiam junior varsity basketball game took place on February 6th at Mill City. There were a few good things to say about this game as it went along. The Rams played very hard despite being down three players, who were sick. Additionally, at the end of the first half, Hudson Mumey, one of Regis’ best ball handlers, got hurt and couldn’t play for the rest of the game. Nonetheless, the Rams continued to play hard into the second half. Unfortunately, after a few plays gone wrong, the Rams lost 38-44. Despite the loss, players of the JV team were excited to be in such a close game. One of Regis’ biggest fans, Mikey Sangster from the second grade, had this to say, “I didn’t like it in the end”.
