Regis vs. Crosshill (JV)

November 4th was Regis High School’s first basketball game against Crosshill Christian Eagles at Regis. The JV had a tough loss against the Crosshill Christian Eagles. They put up a good fight only down two at halftime. The game was close up until the late third quarter with number three from Crosshill Christian knocking down a handful of threes to increase their lead. Regis fought back scoring a few points to try to make it a closer game and lowered the Crosshill lead to nine. In the fourth quarter, Crosshill was making some good plays increasing their lead and Regis tried to fight back but the lead stayed at 15 till the end of the game. In the end, Regis lost 20-35, Some highlights from the game were Lucas Hernandez, James Hayes, and Hudson Mumey scoring their first points as freshmen to start the season. Lucas Henandez had a total of 14 points and was knocking down free throws as he repeatedly got fouled. The next game for Regis JV will be on November 9th against Delphian at Delphian.
