Something Rotten Jr.

Regis High School will be performing Something Rotten! Jr. For their Spring Musical. Something Rotten follows the story of two brothers (Nick and Nigel) who are trying to make a play better than Shakespeare and Nick finds a future teller or a soothsayer named Nostradamus who tells false information about what the future holds 

You were given pieces of the script with different characters and put into a group for a small scene. You would go to a small area to practice and then act on stage for Mrs. B and Mrs. O’Neil then they would give you new scripts depending on what characters they wanted to see you as. You also got another acting opportunity the next day to come in after school and present for Mrs. B once more (Ms. Ditter also came in to watch).

Mrs. B Mrs. O’Neil and Mr. Ripp also hosted singing auditions on Thursday 12/5 You would schedule a time to sing for 5 minutes and Mr. Ripp would help find your highs and your lows and you would also sing a song of your choice if you wanted. Results were posted on Monday 12/9 showing the main cast, the troupe, small characters, and the ensemble. Along with the script being handed out to everyone doing the musical
