Regis Easter Egg Hunt

On Friday, April 5, 2024, Regis High School held an Easter egg hunt to celebrate the Easter season. The Regis student council spent the morning hiding 355 numbered eggs across the campus.
Eggs were hidden all over, from buried in bark dust to camouflaged in trees. Two special eggs were hidden inside the academic building. A golden egg was hidden in Room 10 with free prom tickets. Junior student Faith Hedrick found the golden egg. A silver egg was also hidden. The silver egg contained a 40-dollar Amazon gift card and was discovered by Madelyn Hendricks, a Freshman.
Mrs. Boedigheimer and the Regis student body leadership council compiled 353 regular prizes and handed them out to the students who found eggs. These prizes include but are not limited to packaged treats like chips and bagged cookies, homemade treats like cake and chocolate-covered strawberries, and drinks such as Jarritos and Gatorade.
Overall, the student council believes it was a success and an improvement from last year. “I think it was good,” student Talan Hensley says, “I had fun looking around the campus for eggs.” The student council intends to work hard to make more fun events like this happen. It was a great experience and a very joyful Easter celebration.
