Mr. Ierardi

By: Stephen Lejeune

Mr. Ierardi was born in Massachusetts in a town outside of Boston. He attended a Catholic college in New Hampshire, and after he graduated, he started doing volunteer work and ended up connecting with Regis. Mr. Ierardi came to Regis in the fall of 1992. He taught, coached, cleaned, and helped in every aspect of this school.

Mr. Ierardi has come and gone from Regis. This is his 4th time back here. Mr. Ierardi said it was “nice to come back.” He said, “The community has stayed the same over the years,” and “The community makes it fun to be here.” Mr. Ierardi also commented, “There was always talk about combining St. Mary’s and Regis to work closer together, and now it’s reality,” which was “cool.” Mr. Ierardi was the principal of Regis from 2006 to 2010. During that time, he started the Aspire program, advanced the Regis St. Mary’s K-12 vision, placed the statue of Mary outside the student center, and hired Ms. B.

Mr. Ierardi is helping Mr. Sullivan with student schedules. He is also helping out Mrs. Piccirilli with enrollments. Along with all this, he said that he would be helping out around the school as needed.
