Regis Rams Football

By Andrew Hawley

The Regis Rams ended their football season 11-1 and scored 516 total points.  The Rams lost to Weston-McEwen in the OSAA playoffs. The football team finished the regular season with 2,378 passing yards and had 3,310 total yards on the year. The Rams had a great season, making it to the semi-finals for the first time since 2016. The seniors graduating are Kollin Schumacher (QB), Noah Koenig (WR), Parker Bartholomew (WR), Charlie Miller (WR), Max Eaton (WR), Noah Richter (RB), Thomas Bischoff (LB), Logan Kirsh (DL), and Gavyn Andall (OL). The Rams hope to have a repeat of this year or better for the next couple of years.

The football team will need to find their QB for next year, and many starting spots will be open for the younger players. If they want to repeat what they did last year, everyone will need to put in the work this off-season. The Rams hope to win their league and make a playoff push next year. The football team has already started nonmandatory workouts for the boys who want to keep working and getting better only after two weeks of the season ending.
