The Regis Students for Life
By Benjamin Valladares-Cormier
Every first and third Tuesday of the month, the Students for Life, also known as the Little Lambs meet in the Dome during the lunch period. At the first meeting of the year the group discussed what we would do for the next pro-life events for Regis students.
For the upcoming year, some of the things that the Little Lambs plan to do are the following; participate in a pro-life march in Salem, pray the Rosary in front of Planned Parenthood, do sidewalk chalk evangelization, help out at Hope Pregnancy Center, and more. The pro-life group currently has fifteen students attending the meetings. This year there were many new members and they are still welcoming people to join the group.
The pro-life group was started at Regis in 2020 by Georgia Bartholomew. This year the president of the club is Maria Valladares-Cormier and the faculty advisor is Mrs. Meghan Bischoff. “I really liked it last year, it was really fun. I think this year will be even more fun because we’re doing a lot more stuff,” Maria said when asked about the pro-life group. She has been a part of the group since last year and she is very excited for the years to come.
