Xanadu Auditions

For the 2023 Regis High School Theater production, Anna Boedigheimer will direct Xanadu by Richard Christian Danus and Marc Reid Rubel. 

We both participated in this year’s auditions held on December 5th and December 7th. The Monday auditions were held for the acting portion where we got a character to play in a certain scene to eventually act with other people. These groups were mixed around the whole time so we got to interact with almost everyone. This allowed Ms. B to see who we work best with, what part fits us the best, and what strengths we have. The singing portion was held that Wednesday and everyone signed up for a 4-minute slot to come in, sing a song, and check their vocal range. Some people were intimidated by singing in front of Ms. B and Mr. Ripp, but when you get in the moment, it’s not bad. We both encourage everyone to check out auditions for the plays and musicals, or just to get involved because it’s a lot of fun and will help you build friendships!
