Enhance Your Hunting

In today’s article, I will teach you, fellow students, about an app called OnX Hunt. This hunting-based app was founded by Eric Siegfried back in 2009 and has over a million users. It has seen nothing but good reviews and has a current 4.8-star rating. Hunters and users have commented on the app, saying things like “Best phone mapping app in existence” (Hamfe6) or “Great product, great customer support” (lee2476). As others have mentioned, this is the best hunting app ever!

As I have stated, this is a hunting-based app. My best description of it is “Google Earth on steroids.” The actual description of this app is a map layout with property boundaries, landowner information, drawing and marking tools, and so much more. For example, if I wanted to go hunting somewhere, I would hop on the app and click on the property I was curious about. It would tell me who owns it, how many acres it is, its exact address, and information like that. It even tells you the current weather for that area! OnX can show you the property boundaries of a property and even allows you to set markers on areas you would like to remember. My favorite feature on the app has to be the drawing tool which will enable you to draw, highlight, circle, and do much more. Creating a zone or marking one out can tell you lots of information, for example, how many acres that specific zone or shape is. 

In conclusion, OnX is a convenient tool, even for people who don’t hunt. I recommend looking into getting this app. The only downside is that the app is a subscription-based platform, but you can get the free version which is still fantastic. It just may have less access to tools and other options. It is still great, though! In all, I love this app, and you should too!
