Dodge Electric?

By: Grant Dolby

Is Dodge going all electric? Yes, they are, but I have multiple problems with this: if they break down, how will they get fixed?

If you get stuck in traffic on the highway and there is no way out, there is a possibility that the battery will die. You’ll be in the middle of nowhere with no way to get a charger to charge your vehicle. They are simply impractical.

Most automotive shops don’t have the products needed to fix electric vehicles. Since they are on the newer side, the parts are expensive and hard to find. That’s why the shops choose not to sell automotive parts.

Depending on the part needed, it can only be manufactured in foreign countries. That means they also have to be imported from abroad. With the way the economy is right now and how prices have skyrocketed, that means the prices will have near doubled for the same exact parts.

These are only a few problems I have with Dodge going electric. I sincerely think it will be a loss on their part if they go electric. Perhaps it would be a good idea for the future, but right now, the economy won’t allow for it. Dodge going electric is simply wrong.

Here is the model and some of its colors we can see online.
