2025 Sophmore Retreat
By Stuart McLaughlin
Last week, on April 11, the Sophomore Class of 2027 attended a retreat at Regis. During the retreat, Father Randy Hoang, a priest of the Archdiocese of Portland, spoke to the students about his personal journey to the priesthood and emphasized that everyone is called to holiness in their own way. After his talk, the class was split by gender. Father Randy spoke to the boys in more depth about the priesthood, while the girls had a separate session with Mrs. Bischoff, who shared her own spiritual insights. The class then reunited for a time of Eucharistic adoration, followed by Mass celebrated by Father Randy. Afterward, the students enjoyed a pizza lunch and had the opportunity to ask the priests questions in a casual setting. Following lunch, the baseball and softball teams left for their doubleheaders, while the remaining students took a trip to the Rock Box for an afternoon of rock climbing and class bonding.
