By Alexa Gough
October 1 – 7, 2023 is homecoming week at Regis High School. The week starts with each class decorating their hallway based on different themes. This year the Freshmen chose Pirates of the Caribbean, Sophomores selected Barbie, Juniors picked Jumanji, and Seniors went with Christmas. All grades will be decorating their hallway on October 1st. Monday is the hallway theme contest. Tuesday is class t-shirt day and macho volleyball. Wednesday is a dramatic duo/trio. Thursday is cops and robbers followed by powderpuff football and powderpuff cheer. Friday is the homecoming football game against Culver. At the game homecoming prince and princess from each grade will be announced along with the homecoming king and queen. Saturday, October 7th is the homecoming dance from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. in the Student Center. On Sunday, October 8th there will be a special homecoming Mass at 6 PM at Immaculate Conception Church. A lot of the freshmen are super excited about the week and said that they “can’t wait to go to their first homecoming dance.”
